Vintage Oneida "Fantasy" Tudor Silver Platter

Vintage Oneida Community "Fantasy Tudor Plate" round silver serving platter. It has an ornate, intricate, raised border with floral and scrolling leaf motifs. The center surface is smooth. Marked as item #13109-2 

Tudor means that extra solid silver was added to parts of the piece that would experience extra wear, making it a higher quality silver-plate.

Manufacturer: The item was made by Oneida Community, which became Oneida Ltd. after 1935

Line: It is part of their "Tudor Plate" line of silver-plated holloware. Tudor Plate was a popular-priced line, and items often feature various pattern names.

Pattern: The specific ornate, pierced floral and leaf design around the rim is known as the "Fantasy" pattern.

It has some fine scratches on it's underside and some discoloration where a sticker or tape had been on the underside
