When we opened Miss Mercantile Marketplace, we knew the building had history. We didn't know the inventory came with its own "residents." From self-shuffling coffee cups to a completely unwound 1950s toy doll that rolls across the floor on its own, the Merchant Square Building is alive after hours.

We are officially unlocking the doors for the Ghosts of the Merchant Square Walking Tour—and we are leaning entirely into the eerie unknown.

🔮 Who says Friday gets to have all the fun? We aren’t waiting for a Friday the 13th to unleash the spirits. This spooky season, we are bringing the power of 13 straight to a Tuesday:

🎟️ $13.00 per person. Tickets are for those ages 14 and over. Sorry, this event is not appropriate for those under the age of 14. Please note: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please select at least 2 tickets (if one person is under 18) during checkout.

✨ What’s Included in Your Journey:
🔍 The Rare Artifact: See an original, ornate Victorian Last Rites cabinet up close inside the shop before we walk.
📻 Live Investigation Gear: Help us deploy live ghost-hunting tech—including a Spirit Box and Digital Audio Recorder—to see who answers from the shadows.
🚶‍♂️ The Accessible Route: Our newly revised path stays entirely on the flatter, historic sidewalks of downtown Saline (no steep hills!). Expect a comfortable, accessible 0.55-mile stroll at a relaxed storytelling pace. The guided experience lasts approximately 45 minutes, leading right into your private shopping hour back inside the warm shop!

☕ Refreshments: We will have water bottles provided for your walk, but feel free to bring your own travel mug or spill-proof covered non-alcoholic drink to stay hydrated on the route!

🌧️ Weather & Cancellation Policy:
We run rain or shine! (A little dark mist only adds to the spooky atmosphere). In the event of dangerous lightning or severe storms, we will move the entire tour completely indoors for an intensive shop history investigation, ghost gear hunt, and private shopping. Because an indoor alternative is fully provided, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If it moves completely indoors, we'll take an extra $5.00 off your shop purchase before your 13% discount is applied!
